Description

The Smartphone-based access control system is several usages of smartphones. Apart from normal voice calling, they provide internet connectivity, social connectivity, and Bluetooth connectivity with other devices and many more. A device will be made having Bluetooth connectivity. As we bring a Smartphone near that Bluetooth, we can connect our mobile with the device via Bluetooth. After entering the correct password, we can open the door. 

In the kit Smartphone-based access control system as the user gets connected with the Bluetooth module, he can send the instructions to the microcontroller via Bluetooth. There is an application running on android which forwards the data over Bluetooth of the microcontroller.

The link between the microcontroller and the Smartphone is via SPP of Bluetooth. The door is connected with a DC motor. To connect the motor with the microcontroller we have used a motor driver here. After receiving a proper command (generated from the microcontroller) via Bluetooth the microcontroller will control the gate. The Android app is unique for the device.
