XKC-001A NC Diffuse Reflection Infrared Sensor – DC 5-12V

The XKC-001A NC Diffuse Reflection Infrared Sensor provides non-contact detection of nearby objects using reflected infrared light. Its compact housing and adjustable sensing distance support installation in automation equipment, conveyor systems and electronic detection projects without a separate reflector.

Operating on a DC 5-12V power supply, the sensor offers an adjustable 0-100cm sensing range and a specified 10-15° cone-shaped sensing angle. This Normally Closed (NC) version is designed for applications that require an NC switching state. Verify the electrical interface and detection-state polarity of the supplied NC unit before connecting it to a controller, relay or other load.

The sensor has a quiescent current below 3.5mA, a red detection indicator and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. Actual detection distance depends on the target surface, size, reflectivity and ambient lighting.
