The XKC-003K4-NPN Pyroelectric Body Sensor is a passive infrared (PIR) sensor designed to detect changes in infrared radiation caused by human movement. Its compact rectangular housing, integrated PIR lens and non-contact detection are suitable for motion-triggered lighting, alarm systems and electronic automation projects.Operating on a DC 4.5-20V power supply, this model provides an NPN transistor signal output for use with suitable controller inputs or switching interfaces. Installation and Usage Notes
- Position the PIR lens to face the intended movement-detection area and leave the lens unobstructed.
- Secure the sensor using the two mounting holes.
- Set the L/H trigger mode and 5-300-second delay according to the supplied unit’s controls, if fitted.
- Avoid aiming the sensor directly at rapidly changing heat sources or strong airflow.
- The actual detection range depends on movement, ambient temperature and installation position.
