Description

XKC-KE200-M-NC DC 5-24V Non-Contact Infrared Sensor

The XKC-KE200-M-NC Non-Contact Infrared Sensor is an intelligent infrared detection switch designed to sense people and objects without direct contact. Using infrared diffuse reflection technology, it operates a normally closed (NC) relay contact for compatible switching, alarm and touch-free equipment applications.

Operating on a DC 5-24V power supply, it includes sunlight-interference resistance for indoor and outdoor sensing. Its specified sensing ranges are 5-200cm indoors, 5-150cm outdoors and 5-100cm in direct sunlight; detection distance varies with object colour and surrounding light.

The sensor provides a normally closed relay output that opens when an object is detected and closes when the object is absent. It also features a rear sensing-distance adjustment button, a response time of 500ms or less, low quiescent current of less than 3.5mA, and a PC-V0 flame-retardant IP67 housing with threaded panel mounting.

Wire Connections

Brown: DC 5-24V positive supply (VCC)
Blue: Negative supply (GND)
Yellow: Normally closed relay output (OUT)
Black: Relay common terminal (COM); connect to VCC or GND according to the compatible input or load circuit.
With no object detected, COM and OUT are connected; on detection, the NC contact opens.
Do not use the KE200-V three-wire connection shown in the reference image for this four-wire relay model.

Sensing Distance Adjustment Instructions

Power the sensor and place an approximately 80 × 60cm cardboard target directly in front at the desired distance, within 80cm for the manual's adjustment procedure.
Open the rear cover and press and hold the adjustment button until the red LED begins flashing.
Wait for the automatic adjustment process to finish. Adjustment is complete when the LED stops flashing.
Detection distance may vary with the target colour and ambient light conditions.
