XKC-LD002-V DC 9-24V Static Human Presence Sensor – 60GHz mmWave Radar, High/Low Signal Output

The XKC-LD002-V Static Human Presence Sensor is a non-contact millimetre-wave (mmWave) radar sensor designed to detect human presence, including stationary occupants and small body movements. Operating in the 57-64GHz frequency band, it is suitable for presence-based automatic lighting, occupancy monitoring and compatible electronic control systems.

Powered by a DC 9-24V supply, this V-output variant provides a high and low level signal for compatible control circuits. It has a specified 0-3m detection range, 50cm range resolution and response time of 1500ms or less.

The sensor is designed to operate through suitable non-metallic materials, including glass, plastic, ceramic and wood, and to remain effective under varying light and ambient conditions. Its IP67-rated protection makes it suitable for installations where resistance to dust and water ingress is required.

Installation and Usage Notes

  • Use a regulated DC 9-24V power supply suitable for the stated input requirements.
  • Connect the high/low output only to a compatible controller input; exact HIGH and LOW voltages and wire colours were not supplied.
  • Non-metallic covers may affect detection depending on their thickness and material. Test the sensor in its final installation position.
  • Keep metal barriers out of the intended radar sensing path and verify the coverage area before commissioning.
