Its microwave signal can pass through suitable non-metallic materials, including glass, plastic, ceramic, acrylic, rubber and wood, allowing installation behind compatible covers. An ABS+PC housing with IP67 protection and a specified operating temperature of -10°C to 60°C support use in indoor and appropriately installed outdoor environments.

The XKC-LD500B Microwave Human Presence Sensor uses 5.8GHz microwave radar to detect human movement and small body movements, such as those associated with breathing or typing. Its non-contact sensing design is suitable for occupancy-based lighting, smart appliances, building automation and compatible electronic control systems.This V-output variant provides a high and low level signal output for connection to compatible controllers.
