The XKC-Y26A-PNP 24V is a thin-tube non-contact capacitive liquid level sensor designed to detect the presence of liquid inside small-diameter non-metallic pipes. The sensor mounts externally around the pipe using its integrated spring-clip mechanism and detects liquid through the pipe wall without making direct contact with the liquid.This model operates from a 24V DC power supply and provides a PNP transistor output interface. It is suitable for liquid pipelines, water purification equipment, automatic filling systems, industrial automation equipment, PLC systems and liquid level monitoring applications.

Working Principle
The XKC-Y26A-PNP operates using the capacitive sensing principle. When no liquid is present close to the sensing section, the sensor maintains its normal static capacitance. When liquid inside the pipe reaches the sensing point, additional parasitic capacitance is introduced.The internal signal-processing circuit detects the capacitance variation and converts it into an electrical control signal. When the change exceeds the sensing threshold, the sensor determines that liquid is present and switches the PNP output.

Installation Method
Installation Procedure
- Carefully pull open the spring clips
- Place the liquid pipe between the two spring clips
- Release the clips so that the sensor securely grips the pipe
- Ensure the sensing section remains in close contact with the pipe
- Position the sensor at the required liquid-level detection point
- Recommended pipe outer diameter is approximately 5mm to 10mm
- Maximum pipe outer diameter should not exceed approximately 11mm
- Do not open the spring clip beyond approximately 60°
After Installation
Sensitivity Adjustment
- Use a small screwdriver to adjust sensing sensitivity
- Rotate counterclockwise to increase sensitivity
- Rotate clockwise to decrease sensitivity
- Perform sensitivity adjustment after installing the sensor on the actual pipe
Pipe Diameter Requirement
- Recommended Pipe Outer Diameter: Approx. 5mm to 10mm
