The XKC-Y26A-PNP 5-12V is a thin-tube non-contact capacitive liquid level sensor designed for detecting liquid inside small-diameter non-metallic pipes. The sensor is installed externally around the pipe using its integrated spring-clip mounting mechanism and detects liquid through the pipe wall without making direct contact with the liquid.This model operates from a DC 5V to 12V power supply and provides a PNP transistor output interface. It is suitable for thin plastic pipes, water pipelines, liquid dispensing systems, automatic filling equipment, water purification systems, industrial automation equipment and liquid-level monitoring applications.

Working Principle
The XKC-Y26A-PNP operates using the capacitive sensing principle. When no liquid is present near the sensing section, the sensor maintains a certain static capacitance. When liquid inside the pipe reaches the sensing position, the liquid introduces additional parasitic capacitance.The internal signal-processing circuit detects this capacitance change and converts it into an electrical signal. Installation Method
Installation Procedure
- Carefully pull open the spring clips of the sensor
- Place the water or liquid pipe between the two spring clips
- Release the spring clips so that the sensor securely grips the pipe
- Ensure the sensing section remains in close contact with the pipe surface
- Position the sensor at the required liquid-level detection point
- Suitable for pipe outer diameters from 5mm to 10mm
- Maximum pipe outer diameter should not exceed approximately 11mm
- Do not open the spring clip beyond approximately 60°
After Installation
Sensitivity Adjustment
- Use a small screwdriver to adjust the sensitivity control
- Rotate counterclockwise to increase sensing sensitivity
- Rotate clockwise to decrease sensing sensitivity
- Adjust sensitivity if the liquid is not detected reliably
- Perform final sensitivity adjustment after installing the sensor on the actual pipe
