This model operates from a 24V DC power supply and provides a PNP output interface. Its non-contact sensing design helps reduce contamination, corrosion, leakage, and maintenance issues associated with conventional contact-type liquid level sensors.
The internal control circuit detects this capacitance variation and converts it into an electrical signal. When the detected change reaches the set threshold, the sensor determines that liquid is present and switches the PNP output.
The gap between the sensor sensing surface and the container wall should be less than 0.5mm. For optimum sensing sensitivity and reliable liquid detection, no gap is recommended between the sensor and container wall.
Always connect the sensor according to the dedicated XKC-Y26S-PNP 24V wiring diagram supplied with the product.

The XKC-Y26S-PNP 24V is a non-contact capacitive water and liquid level sensor designed to detect liquid through the outer wall of non-metallic containers and pipes. It is installed externally and detects the presence of liquid without requiring direct contact with the medium, making it suitable for sealed tanks, water containers, non-metallic pipes, liquid storage systems, industrial equipment, and automation applications.This model operates from a 24V DC power supply and provides a PNP output interface. Its non-contact sensing design helps reduce contamination, corrosion, leakage, and maintenance issues associated with conventional contact-type liquid level sensors.

Working Principle
The sensor operates using the capacitive sensing principle. When no liquid is present near the sensing surface, the sensor maintains its normal capacitance level. When the liquid reaches the sensing position, the electrical capacitance detected through the non-metallic container wall changes.The internal control circuit detects this capacitance variation and converts it into an electrical signal. Gap Requirement Between Sensor and Container Wall
The sensing surface should be attached tightly to the outer wall of the container. Use AB glue or another durable adhesive to securely attach the sensor to the container wall.The gap between the sensor sensing surface and the container wall should be less than 0.5mm. For optimum sensing sensitivity and reliable liquid detection, no gap is recommended between the sensor and container wall.

- Rotate counterclockwise to increase sensitivity
- Rotate clockwise to decrease sensitivity

Installation Instructions
- Install the sensor externally on a non-metallic container or pipe
- Position the sensing surface at the required liquid level detection point
- Ensure the sensing surface has full contact with the container or pipe wall
- Keep the installation gap below 0.5mm
- For optimum performance, installation without any gap is recommended
- Use a durable adhesive for installation on flat container surfaces
- Use suitable plastic cable ties for installation on pipes
- Adjust the sensitivity after final installation if required
- Do not install the sensing surface on a metallic container wall
