XKC-Y29A-NPN Wall-Mount Non-Contact Liquid Level Sensor – DC 12-24V NPN Output

The XKC-Y29A-NPN Wall-Mount Non-Contact Liquid Level Sensor detects liquid levels through the walls of compatible non-metallic containers without direct contact with their contents. Designed for external mounting on plastic, glass and ceramic containers, its electronic sensing system supports liquid-level monitoring in industrial, water-handling and automated equipment.

Operating on a DC 12-24V power supply, this sensor features an NPN open-collector output for integration with compatible controllers and industrial automation systems. Its sensitivity can be calibrated for different container materials and wall thicknesses. It supports sensing through container walls up to 10mm thick, with a specified ±3mm liquid-level accuracy for the Y29A family.

The sensor features strong resistance to electromagnetic interference, electrical protection against reverse polarity, short circuits, overcurrent and overvoltage, and a PC-V0 flame-retardant housing with IP67 protection. It is designed to detect cold, hot and boiling liquids through suitable container walls, while the sensor itself must remain within its specified operating temperature range.
