SP1848-27145 Thermoelectric Power Generator/Thermocooler Peltier Module

The peltier thermoelectric cooler SP1848-27145 is a compact and efficient module based on the Peltier effect, capable of generating electrical power from a temperature difference. This peltier thermoelectric cooler operates up to 120°C and delivers varying voltage and current outputs depending on the applied heat. When combined with a proper peltier module heat sink, the sp1848 27145 module performs reliably in both power generation and thermal management applications.

Thermoelectric power generators, commonly known as Peltier or TEG modules, work by creating a temperature differential between two surfaces. By applying heat on one side and cooling the other using a peltier module heat sink, the peltier thermoelectric cooler begins generating voltage proportional to the heat applied. As a result, the sp1848 27145 module can produce a moderate voltage output with milliamp-level current.

When heat is applied to one side and cooling is maintained on the opposite side, the peltier thermoelectric cooler efficiently converts thermal energy into electrical energy. For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to use thermal grease and a suitable peltier module heat sink. The sp1848 27145 module offers a long life expectancy of up to 200,000 hours with a low failure rate of 0.2% based on long-term testing.

Operating Tips: Do not exceed the maximum operating temperature of the module.

Failure rate based on longtime testings: 0.2%.

Important Note!! MODEL NUMBER SIDE IS EXPOSED TO “HEAT-SINK or ICE” AND OPPOSITE SIDE TO “HEAT”.

Place 2–3 drops of grease compound on both sides of the TEG module.
